2005 was the year that my little brother was born.  Learning process started again for him. My mother, my father and the other family members even me whether try to teach something new or not, my little brother learned a lot from us.  Children can always learn everything that is happening around them with a natural and spontaneous ways. The learning process on those ages is unconscious. Their brain is like a sponge that everything that they encounter is absorbed by it. Learning ability is a genetically coded to us we can’t escape from it, especially in human’s early ages.

For example; while my brother was learning how to use computer, he was observing me silently while I was using it. After a time, he started to figure out which button does what. Then he started to ask questions and with little explanation he managed to use the basic programs on the computer. After learning the basics, it was easy for him to develop his skills on his own. He can even open the computer and start surfing on the net. In the other hand, my father learned using computer when he was 48. It was very hard for him. Because after a certain age, it becomes hard to acquire new skills and something like a computer was very odd for my father. I had to explain every single button in the keyboard and every icon on the screen. After long practices, he started to use basic software.

In order to learn something, my father needs a lot of guidance because he lacks the confidence and he has some kind of fear towards that device. It’s because he learned using the computer at late ages. In those ages, most people lose their creativity and perception. In the other hand, my little brother needs no one to teach him anything. When he encounters a problem, he tries to solve it all by himself. By clicking randomly on the options of the programs, if he fails, again we try to find the solution on the internet by himself.  To ask some to help him is the last option that he uses. Listening music, watching cartoons, playing games or lots of thing he does with the help of computer and he isn’t bored whereas my father is able to open computer, click only the Internet Explorer, read the news on the net.

Consequently, with the help of observing, he thinks that he can do like me. Intrapersonal intelligence is seen in this situation. Listening music on the computer(musical intelligence), using fingers for games and connect to the internet(kinesthetic intelligence),asking questions when he fails and telling the problem he thinks(linguistic intelligence) shows that he has learned what he needed. This learning period will have an effect on my brother’s life, all the things that are easily learned form the basis of what is to be learned in the future. Unlike my father, He has no difficulties about using computer in the future. My brother learned new things without realizing it, discovered and developed new abilities of the various functions of the brain. He observed and applied the skill that he wanted. He got the opportunity to learn effective.
