Whatsapp

Whatsapp
Nowadays, we cannot think of a life without communication. In the past, we used letters, telegraphs and even birds to communicate with each other. Today, we use telephones and computers. In 21th century, the effect of computers and technologies in human life is too wide. Computers have World Wide Web and with the help of this, we can communicate with the world. To do this we should use social networks. Social networks are the mean of communication. Here are some social networks, Msn, Facebook, ICQ, Whatsapp, etc. Let’s talk about one of them which is Whatsapp. There are so many useful facts about whatsapp.
Firstly, you can be familiar to whatsapp because it is almost like msn messenger, but whatsapp is an application installed at mobile phones only. The phones that have 3G program is suitable for this application, and the users that own these phones can easily install this application. This application helps you to chat and text with your mobile contacts fast and with a very low cost. This application can help you to share videos, photos etc .mobile users can be online 24/7 at contact with their friends and relatives for long with a very low cost.
Why not facebook or msn? The answer is simple for using facebook and msn you need to wait for your friends to get online to chat and you need to be connected to the internet have a user id to use these programs, while in whatsapp you just need to have your phone number and you don’t need to be connected at all time because whatsapp is like a text program you can just reply at the moment when your friends write to chat. For instance; I am studying university in Turkey and my family lives in foreign country. Rather than calling me every day and asking on me, they just text me from whatsapp and if there is anything important or an emergency topic I just text them, too.
Consequently, whatsapp helps me to stay in touch with my family and friends, so do everyone who uses whatsapp. Of course there are a lot of social network but I prefer whatsapp because of all these reasons. Once you started using whatsapp, I dare you will keep on using it. It’s a good way of communicating.

DRAMA

DRAMA
Let’s image of a course that involves all the other basic courses such as listening, writing, reading and speaking. It’s both enjoyable and useful. Think that lecturers want students to write their own scenarios and display them on the stage. We can call the new course as a drama or display theatrical arts. How can it be useful or how does it create beneficial impact on students? Most probably there are three ways of this to be done. Here, they are first step for the writers, the second step for speakers and last step for listeners.
When we look at the first step of course, it is mostly about writers. They are the one to be writing the scenario. This does not only help them to improve their writing skills but will also make them creative. While writing they will also learn a lot of vocabulary and will learn how to produce proper sentences. These sentences are not simple and easy; students will use their senses so scenario will be full of emotions such as love, sadness, hatred etc. And also scenario writers will have a good memory and improve their memorizing skills.
Secondly, when writers write their scenario, they will need people to perform their play. These people (students), who will participate in this play, will also improve their speaking skills.  These participants who will perform this play will have self confidence. They will enjoy speaking while speaking they can use the words that doest use in daily life which will also help them to have a rich vocabulary. And the most important part for the speaker is pronunciation and toning. If you want to explain yourself in a character’s shoe, you have to pronounce words correctly. You have to relate the message correctly to the audience.
Thirdly, when we come to last step, it occupies the audience, listeners. With the last step, students will improve their listening skills. They can capture the new words that they are not used to and they would be interested to know the meaning. Listening and this course can also be beneficial in daily life. If you listen correctly, you can get every message right, learn new vocabulary, have more idea about writing skills and can be more creative. While listening you can imagine of an image formed in your mind.
Consequently, the aim is to improve students some skills such as writing, pronunciation and make the students escape from the daily boring routine and to have their interest at their courses in more enjoyable way. All these steps are suitable for this aim.

My Worst learning experience.

My Worst learning experience.

During my high school life, I had the most great and enjoyable time. High school was the best years of my life that I would always remember and if I had a chance I would go back and retake it again. But of course I also had some bad days.  Out of those good and bad days there was one worst time that I could not forget and by chance I would not want to. Those days I look back and I realize that I use to be a lot sad but now I can laugh at it and take it as a funny memory. The time my father didn’t allow me to go to prom because I was scolded and I violated my dad’s punishment and went to the prom.
I would like to start by saying, it was my last year and unfortunately it was my last chance to see all my school fellows altogether and see my school for the last time. The day before the prom I had an argument with my father and we crossed went to each other and involuntarily I misbehaved to him and so he took a strict action by not allowing me to go to prom. That night I tried apologizing but obviously he didn’t care because he was so angry and insisted on his punishment. Morning I had to go to the school but knowing that at the prom evening I wouldn’t be there was killing me.
In addition, I cried all out that night until the morning I had a terrible headache and I went to school with my eyes swollen. All my friends were talking about what they were going to wear and how their hair style and make up was. Hearing my friend plans for the night was making me even sadder and when they asked me what was I thinking and how my dress is, my answer was I am not attending to the prom. One of my best friends came up with an idea of attending to the party behind fathers back; out of his permission. The idea sounded great to me, but this time the problem was, I was not prepared and I had no dress. My friend again offered me an idea by lending me one of her party dress and so we decided to implement the plan.
By the time of prom everything went perfectly well. My friend dressed fit me and looked amazing we covered up my swollen eyes with makeup and went to saloon to fix my hair. Unfortunately, things didn’t work after all, my headache started getting worst and the music irritated me, the food disturbed my stomach and so I vomited. After a while I started feeling bad. By coincidence my dad came home early from work that night and when he couldn’t find me at home, he knew that I would probably be at the prom so he came and scolded me in presence of all my friends in addition to that I fainted. When I open my eyes I found myself at hospital.
In conclusion, the day that was meant to be the best day of my life and high school turned out to be the worst day of my life and my worst learning experience was not to do anything behind my parents back.
